Chris Pratt in moving tribute to late Everwood co-stars Treat Williams and John Beasley

Chris Pratt has paid tribute to late Everwood co-stars John Beasley and Treat Williams, in a moving Instagram post.

On Tuesday the Parks and Recreation star took to the photo-sharing platform to remember two of his Everwood co-stars in a moving post.

Chris' tribute comes mere days and weeks after the two actors passed away. John died on May 30 at the age of 79, while Treat died on Monday at the age of 71 following a motorcycle crash in Vermont.

Everwood is an American drama television series that ran from 2003 until 2006, and starred Chris, John and Treat, among many other actors and actresses.

Chris starred alongside the two actors in all 89 episodes of Everwood, Treat leading the cast as Dr. Andrew Brown, and John playing the role of Irv Harper.

And now Chris, who played Bright Abbott in the series, has remembered his co-stars John Beasley and Treat Williams, who both died recently.

The Minnesota-born star, 43, penned a touching note on his page which read: " It’s an incredibly sad season for the cast and crew of Everwood.

"We’re still reeling from the loss of John Beasley and yesterday we lost Treat Williams as well. Both men were exceptional actors, wonderful husbands, fathers and friends. " he continued, which was in the caption underneath some photos of the late stars.

He added: "They will be missed tremendously. I learned a great deal from working with each of them.

"The Beasley family and Williams family will be in my family’s prayers. May we see you again gentlemen. God bless you."

Chris then shared a touching message with his followers which read: "Hug your loved ones. Reach out to that person that’s been on your mind. Life is fragile, precious and finite. Embrace it and one another."

Before concluding with: "And if you’re looking for some films to watch this week, check out Treat in Prince in the City, Hair, or Ten Things To Do in Denver When You’re Dead, and John can be seen in The Apostle, Walking Tall, and Rudy."
