Chris Pine, Sombr, and More Stars Bring Ralph Lauren Style to the US Open Final

Ralph Lauren brought its distinctive approach to US Open style to the stands for championship weekend, with a group of actors and musicians joining the brand at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the men's final on Sunday, September 13. Sombr, Chris Pine, Tyriq Withers, Rami Malek, Eiza González, Lesley Manville and Ellen Pompeo were among the stars connected to the Ralph Lauren presence during the tournament's final weekend.

The occasion came as Alexander Zverev defeated American Ben Shelton in four sets to win the men's singles championship. The final capped a weekend in which Ralph Lauren's long-running relationship with the US Open once again placed the brand's clothing alongside one of tennis's most prominent events.

Ralph Lauren's official Instagram coverage of the weekend highlights the celebrities in the brand's own fashion story, including looks associated with Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Ralph Lauren Collection. Those distinctions are important here because they come from Ralph Lauren's own event coverage rather than being inferred from photographs.

Sombr, Chris Pine and Tyriq Withers Bring Ralph Lauren Tailoring to the Final

Sombr was one of the most clearly documented Ralph Lauren looks of the men's final. Vogue described his outfit as a sharp, peak-lapel black blazer worn with a contrasting black-and-white shirt and tie combination, while Town & Country identified the blazer as Ralph Lauren and noted his wide geometric tie.

Chris Pine was also at the final in Ralph Lauren. Town & Country specifically identified Pine as wearing the brand, while official US Open photography places him at Arthur Ashe Stadium during the men's championship match.

Tyriq Withers made a second appearance during finals weekend after attending the women's final the previous day. Town & Country reported that Withers returned for the men's final in another Ralph Lauren outfit, making him one of the guests whose connection to the brand was explicitly documented across both days.

Lesley Manville and the Wider Ralph Lauren Guest List

Lesley Manville was another guest whose Ralph Lauren look was specifically identified by Town & Country. The actress wore a tweed vest with a white maxi skirt for the men's final, a combination that kept the look rooted in tailoring while remaining appropriate for an afternoon of tennis.

Rami Malek was also part of Ralph Lauren's finals-weekend guest group. Vogue reported that Malek attended the brand's suite during the weekend and returned on Sunday, while official US Open photography shows him at the men's final alongside Sombr and Ellen Pompeo.

Eiza González likewise attended Sunday's men's final, with Vogue identifying her among the stars who took their seats during the afternoon. Ellen Pompeo was photographed at the championship match as well. Because the available reporting does not provide sufficiently specific garment credits for either actress, their presence is included here without assigning an individual Ralph Lauren collection or piece to them.

The Ralph Lauren presence at the US Open extends beyond celebrity dressing. The brand has been the tournament's official outfitter since 2005, and its partnership was renewed through 2032, continuing its role outfitting officials and ball crew while maintaining a substantial presence around the championship.

For the 2026 men's final, that relationship was visible through a carefully documented group of celebrity appearances. From Sombr's geometric tie and tailored black blazer to Manville's tweed vest and Withers's return in Ralph Lauren, the weekend provided a distinctly Ralph Lauren lens on the final chapter of this year's New York Grand Slam.
