Give Chris Paul some serious credit here.
He appeared on Monday’s Good Morning America and of course Michael Strahan had to ask him about what his reaction was to being traded to the Washington Wizards in the blockbuster that got the Phoenix Suns Bradley Beal.
He said he was surprised and found out on the plane to GMA that he was getting dealt. He probably wanted to say more about it, but he simply said, “In this league, anything can happen, so … you figure out what’s next.”
You could tell, though, that he was trying to keep it together (maybe he was angry?) while answering:
