Chris Moyles is reportedly set to appear on the upcoming instalment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after he was pictured at Brisbane Airport in Australia.

Although the list of contestants set to take part has yet to be revealed, the radio presenter has set tongues wagging after he was spotted in an all-black ensemble as he made his way through the airport.

In pictures obtained by the Mirror, the 48-year-old also sported a pair of shades as he attempted to remain incognito through the terminal Down Under.

Even though the season isn’t due to begin until November, it has been reported that those entering the jungle are making their way the Australia early so that they can isolate for at least a week before the show kicks off.

In previous years, celebrities arrived “over a four or five-day period”, with some arriving “just a day or two before filming”, according to a source.

However, since the show is moving back to Australia for the first since the pandemic began, everyone in the 2022 cast “will be here a week before they get into camp and some are coming out 10 days before”.

A TV insider told the publication: “Once they are out of the airport the idea is to keep them alone as much as possible to minimise any risk of them having to quit the show.

“ITV don’t want to jeopardise the show because of Covid as it has caused them so many problems in the last two years and stopped the show being in Australia for so long.”

Moyles, who used to present on BBC Radio 1, now fronts The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X and has previously enjoyed stints on the West End.

Other celebrities rumoured to appear in the new series include Mike Tindall, Boy George, Olivia Attwood, Lionesses star Jill Scott, comedian Seann Walsh, Celebrity Gogglebox’s Babatunde Aleshe and broadcaster Charlene White.

The Standard has contacted Chris Moyles’s rep and ITV for comment.
