Chris Kamara has announced he will be leaving Sky Sports after 24 years of service.
Kamara becomes the latest high-profile name to leave the Soccer Saturday cast after the likes of Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas and Matt Le Tissier stepped down from their respective roles. Presenter Jeff Stelling had previously announced he would too be leaving at the end of the season but has since reversed his decision.
Throughout his 24 years with Sky, Kamara produced a whole host of iconic moments and also presented Goals on Sunday with Ben Shephard. He became renowned for his unforgettable gaffe during his commentary of Portsmouth's home clash against Blackburn in 2010.

Kamara tweeted: "After 24 years at Sky Sports we have announced my departure. I have loved every minute and the memories will live with me forever.
"Working with Jeff and the boys has been unbelievable! And the special days on Goals on Sunday with Ben Shephard who has become a great pal. I’ve had a blast!"
Last month, Kamara revealed he is suffering from apraxia of speech after concerns were raised over his slurred speech. "Just wanted to let a few of you know who tweeted me today that I am ok-ish," he said.
"Alongside my Thyroid problem I have developed Apraxia of Speech & have been working to get my speech back to normal. Some days it can be a little slow and some days it’s normal. Hopefully I can beat this!"
