Chris Kaba family says two police watchdog resignations ‘unsettling’

The family of Chris Kaba, an unarmed black man who was killed by police, say it’s “unsettling” that two police watchdog staff members have resigned after overseeing an investigation into his death.

Releasing a statement, the family said it was “concerned” about the impact of two senior workers at the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) stepping down, the BBC reports, and the inquiry timeframe.
