Ex-Ireland defender Chris Hughton has been named as the new Ghana boss following a spell as technical advisor.
Hughton, whose father hails from Ghana, replaces Otto Addo who left following their World Cup exit at the group stage late last year. Hughton joined the Ghanian set-up under Addo in February 2022.
It is Hughton's first managerial position since he was dismissed as Nottingham Forest boss in September 2021. His successor, Steve Cooper, eventually led Forest to the Premier League that same season.
