In a lengthy battle at The Renaissance Club, it was Chris Gotterup who got over the line to claim the Genesis Scottish Open.

The American, who shared the lead alongside five-time Major winner, Rory McIlroy, got the better of his experienced opponent throughout at North Berwick, finishing two shots clear of the Career Grand Slam winner and DP World Tour star, Marco Penge.
