Captain America star Chris Evans is off the market! The Marvel star tied the knot with Portuguese actor Alba Baptista in a secret ceremony on Saturday at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The wedding was attended by several of the couple's well-known friends, including Jeremy Renner, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, as well as Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey. On Saturday, Hemsworth, Downey, their wives, and Renner were seen conversing and dining at the Contessa restaurant within the five-star Newbury Boston hotel. Soon after midnight on Saturday, Krasinski and Blunt were seen leaving the celebrations. A source told People Magazine, "They were very happy, joking and smiling."
Shortly after news of the wedding broke online, fans took to their social media handles to express their shock and excitement. Many also posted hilarious memes of their 'heartbroken' reactions to the reports that the 'hottest man alive' was now a 'married man'. The Portuguese actor, who is from Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Chris have been dating for over a year and have been in a serious relationship since November 2022. A source added at the time, "They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her."
On Valentine's Day earlier this year, Evans posted a photo collage of himself and his lady love to celebrate their love. The Captain America actor shared some PDA filled pictures, clicks from their many low-key vacations and hiking dates together. There among the many photos were some of the actors spending time together with their dog Dodger.
Evans also gave fans a peek into their romance by posting a video montage of himself and Baptista and their many tries at scaring each other and other cute shenanigans.
