Similarly, your Tree can also catch a mutation and drop extra coins when chopped. How to Get Mutations in Chop Your Tree
There are currently two sources of mutations in Chop Your Tree:
- Void Mutations: 12 mutations in total that are applied to your Watering Can or Tree randomly and automatically. Unlock the Void by completing Prestige 1 to get access to the Mutations Tree to buy Mutation Chance upgrades using Crystals.
- Weather Event Mutations: 4 Weather Events that can apply four different mutations. Read on to learn more about all Weather Events in Chop Your Tree, spawn times, and possible mutations.

Once you complete the Prestige 1 in Chop Your Tree, you’ll gain access to the Void. In the Void, you can use Crystals to progress along the Prestige Tree and increase chances of getting these mutations.
To perform Prestige 1, you’ll need to earn 75M to expand your plot, then buy the Prestige Shrine for 15M, and buy Prestige 1 for 20M.
You’ll lose all your money, axes, and watering cans, and get 750 Crystals, which you can use to buy stat upgrades, skill upgrades, and mutation chance upgrades.
Weather Mutations in Chop Your Tree
There are 4 Weather Events in Chop Your Tree. Each of these has a chance of applying a certain mutation to your Watering Cans or the Tree. See the table below for a complete list of Chop Your Tree Weather Events, their respective mutations, and the multiplier.

Chop Your Tree FAQs
Yes, the Tree can also get a mutation, which will increase the coin drop when chopping the tree. Once you chop the mutated version of the tree, it’ll lose the mutation. The tree can only have a single mutation at once.
Yes, your Watering Cans can get multiple mutations, and the mutation multipliers will stack additively. Mutations can also apply to your Watering Cans while you’re offline.
Totems can boost your coin drops from the Tree. You can get a free Group Totem by liking the game and joining the game’s Roblox Community. Other Totems can only be purchased using Robux. You can get other coin drop boosting items from Nature Totem Crates.
Crystals in Chop Your Tree are required to buy upgrades in the Void. The only way to get these Crystals is by completing more Prestiges.
