Chloe Sims quits The Only Way Is Essex after 11 years

Chloe Sims has quit The Only Way Is Essex after spending 11 years on the reality show.

A representative for the show confirmed the news to The Sun, saying: "After dedicating over a decade to TOWIE, Chloe Sims has decided to depart the show.

"Chloe has been an iconic cast member and feels like it's the right time to leave the show, as she enters a new chapter in her life.”

The spokesperson added that "the door will always be open" for Chloe, 40, and confirmed her sisters Demi and Frankie will also not appear in the upcoming series.

Mirror Online has contacted Chloe's representatives for comment.

The confirmation comes after reports surfaced online that the sisters were quitting the show so they can potentially go it alone.

The reports said the trio are planning to become the UK's answer to the Kardashians, as they work to get their own TV show.

A source told The Sun: "There's a lot of interest in Chloe, Demi and Frankie right now.

"Undoubtedly they are TOWIE's biggest stars with Chloe being one of the longest-serving cast members but the idea is for them to get their very own Kardashian-style series.

"Their team has been meeting with TV bosses to discuss the potential show and, as TOWIE viewers will already know, there's never a dull moment with them."

They also said Chloe no longer wants to be part of the show's constant drama, after her public on-off relationship with Pete Wicks and her feud with Dan Edgar and Amber Turner.

The source added: "Chloe has grown increasingly tired of the childish storylines and constant drama. She wants fans to see there's much more to her than that."
