Chloe Goodman has opened up about her traumatic near-death experience giving birth earlier this year.
The former glamour model, 28, became a mother for a second time in February 2022, but welcoming son Hudson into the world proved to be a nerve-racking ordeal - with Chloe even making a will and final wish list at one point.
Chloe and footballer fiancé Grant Hall, who also share 18-months-old daughter Isla, had to get through an operation gone wrong and a traumatic early C-section in order to see their second child safely delivered.
The mum-of-two's ordeal began just a few months into her pregnancy when she began to develop chronic pain symptoms and was "wetting herself constantly" due to a previous medical procedure.
Chloe has explained to new! magazine how in 2019, following an abnormal smear result, she opted to have half her cervix removed.
This led to the reality TV star having a procedure called a cervical stitch inserted throughout her pregnancy, to help keep her unborn baby in the uterus.
However, during her pregnancy with Hudson, doctors accidently attached the stitch to the mum-of-two's bladder - leaving the then-pregnant star in pain and suffering from bladder weakness.
Chloe refused to have the stitch removed, after medics wanted to operate on the star, as she feared for the life of her then unborn child.
"I just looked at Grant like 'Oh my God, I can't do this'. I just knew I'd lose Hudson if they removed that stitch, I refused to give up on him," the star recalled to new! magazine.
"I said, 'No I'm not having the stitch out until we put a camera there and find out what's causing this.'"
Doctors agreed and went on to discover that they'd actually stitched in and back out of the star's bladder.
Chloe went on to describe the pain as "unimaginable" as her pregnancy progressed and would spend nights awake due to the pressure on her bladder.
The star added she wanted to keep hold of her unborn son at "any cost" and tried to push the C-section as long as she could.
At 35 weeks, Chloe was told she was risking her life and on 2 February 2002, Hudson Christopher Sean-Terry Hall was born.
But the ordeal wasn't over for the mum-of-two, as doctors had to refocus their attention on removing the botched stitch inside the star's body.
Looking back on the experience, Chloe described the health crisis as "scary" and admitted she lost a lot of blood at one point.
The star also revealed during her candid chat that prior to her C-section, she made a will and plans for her death if the worst was to happen.
"Me and Grant were meant to do our wills ages ago," Chloe explained in her interview. "When I was in hospital, I realised if it all went wrong, I have to make sure he gets all my money. Grant's already got stuff in place."
The reality TV star's partner Grant went on to admit that it was "grim" to be considering a time where their two young children may be growing up without a mother.
Thankfully, Chloe survived and was able to return home from hospital after giving birth, but not without a catheter strapped to her leg.
The star opened up about how the catheter impacted her ability to lift up her young daughter but eventually got used to it.
Just weeks after their traumatic experience, Grant and Chloe suffered every parent's worst nightmare when their baby son was rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis.
The couple were relieved when doctors ruled out meningitis and sepsis, after treating the weeks-old baby.
