Love Island star Chloe Crowhurst has revealed why she decided to keep her pregnancy private.
The former reality TV star, 27, explained that she had been placed under specialist care after suffering three miscarriages before her current pregnancy.
Chloe left her fans gobsmacked when she announced her baby bombshell last month.
The blonde beauty revealed that was expecting her first child - a daughter - in a gushing Instagram post after choosing to keep her relationship completely private too.
Speaking on FUBAR Radio, Chloe opened up about her decision to keep her personal life private after suffering immense heartache after three miscarriages.
Chloe, who is expecting her first child with her photographer boyfriend David Houghton, told: "With my pregnancy, I didn’t announce it for quite a long time - just because I’ve had very bad experiences in the past with pregnancies and stuff like that.
"I’ve had three miscarriages before, so I was under quite specialist care at first. It wasn’t something I wanted to advertise and cause stress upon."
Despite having suffered heartbreak three times in the past, Chloe revealed that she's completely calm this time around during her pregnancy.
"I’m not actually worried about it," the former Love Island star insisted.
"I don’t know why because I’m not really a chilled person, but since being pregnant I’m very chill."
The expectant mum also explained why she keeps her relationship out of the spotlight since her stint on Love Island in 2017.
Chloe explained: "I’ve had relationships on social media in the past and let’s put it this way, it’s not good. What benefit do you get from it? You don’t.
"A previous relationship I had before, I put that on social media. The same day I put it on social media, the messages were flooding through to my boyfriend at the time and there was all these follower requests and stuff and I just think some people don’t have any respect.
"And people make up stories like 'Chloe’s done this, or she’s done that', and to be honest with you, I’m too old for that drama. I’m so chill, I’m happy, and that’s all that matters."
Chloe announced her pregnancy last month on Instagram.
The former Love Island star is due to give birth in the coming weeks.
