Chinese Proverb of the Day: 'The temptation to quit will be greatest just before...'- A powerful lesson about persistence and patience

Rumi

Chinese Proverb of the Day: Proverb of the Day explores traditional sayings from around the world that continue to offer simple yet powerful lessons about life, determination, and human nature. The Chinese proverb of the day, “The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed,” reflects the importance of perseverance and the strength required to continue when the journey becomes difficult.

This proverb shares a message that many people discover during challenging moments: the hardest part of a journey often comes when success is closer than it appears. When progress feels slow and obstacles seem endless, people may feel the strongest desire to give up.
