NAGPUR: A day after they ended their eight-year playoff drought, Indian cagers failed to find the rhythm and suffered a crushing 46-point (43-89) loss against China in the quarterfinal of the U-18 Asia Cup basketball tournament at Jordan on Saturday.
This loss dealt a significant blow to India's aspirations of qualifying for the U-19 Basketball World Cup in 2025, as only the top four finishers in Asia will earn a spot in the global event.
