A Chinese diplomat embroiled in a violent brawl with Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters in the United Kingdom was also accused of attacking Taiwanese officials in Fiji two years ago.

Gao Lianjia is one of four Chinese diplomats who were filmed fighting with protesters outside China's consulate in the city of Manchester last month.
