China Dominates Table Tennis, Wins Every Gold At Paris 2024

Chinese table tennis player Wang Manyu secured the women's team gold medal over Japan with a 3-1 victory against Miwa Harimoto in their singles match. This win gave China an unassailable 3-0 lead in match wins, following earlier victories by Manyu and Chen Meng in the doubles match against Harimoto and Hina Hayata, as well as singles wins by Wang and Sun Yingsha.

The arena was filled with a large contingent of China supporters who cheered loudly throughout the afternoon, erupting into jubilation as Wang clinched the match point.

China's dominance in table tennis at the Paris 2024 Olympics was further solidified with this victory, as they have now won every gold medal available in the event. Since the sport was introduced at the Seoul 1988 Olympics, China has only missed out on two gold medals: the 1988 women's doubles and the mixed doubles in Tokyo.

In addition to the women's team gold, China also secured a silver in the women's singles event, bringing their total table tennis medal count to six.

Despite the emergence of talented players from around the world, China continues to demonstrate its unparalleled prowess in the sport, reaffirming its status as a powerhouse in table tennis.

China's remarkable success in table tennis was complemented by another impressive sweep in the diving events on Saturday, further showcasing the country's dominance in multiple Olympic disciplines.
