Children's show hosted by drag queen cancelled after 'abusive threats'

A CHILDREN'S storytime event hosted by a drag queen has been cancelled after the host received "abusive and threatening messages".

Drag Queen Storytime was due to take place on Saturday morning at Dundee's DCA but was postponed last minute after "hateful and intimidatory behaviour" led to performer Miss Peaches feeling unsafe.

DCA said the drag queen and the arts centre's staff had experienced online threats in the run-up to the show.
