Primary schools across the UK are being invited to take part in a Eurovision-themed Live Lesson.
Critically acclaimed MOBO award-winning musician and composer YolanDa Brown helped children create their own Eurovision song to celebrate the contest landing in the UK. The track was specially made for the Live Lesson with local Liverpool children involved and based on the theme 'United by Music'.
Lauren Layfield and Tyler West will host the programme along with the help of a local children’s choir, including sign-language singers and some big Eurovision names dropping by.

Children will be invited to join from the comfort of their classrooms with lyrics available on the BBC website. A live online commentary page will also be available on the day via the BBC Teach website for school shout-outs and comments.
The programme will be available to watch on CBBC, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Teach website on Friday, May 12.
Discussing the Live Lesson with the Liverpool Echo, Lauren said: "What's really special about this Eurovision-themed Live Lesson is we're in the heart of a city with so much musical history and it's in the build-up to this massive, iconic event that might not come around for another 20 years. It's a really special and elevated Live Lesson."
Discussing how the track came to fruition, YolanDa said: "The track is built by the young generation and as much as Eurovision has its history, this is a very special year because we are hosting for Ukraine. I think it's going to open up lots of conversations. We've got Ukrainian children in the choir and everybody's welcome and should come together. So there's a really strong message that's come from the children themselves that is then built into melody and the tempo and the dynamics of the music and education."
Relaying the impact the Live Lesson will have on children, Tyler said: "I think this lesson honestly will be something that the kids will remember forever. If I was in school and someone asked, 'How do you remember your Eurovision year?' this would be the one thing that stands out for me. The song is something you're never going to forget. That's one thing and possibly the dance moves."
