A three-vehicle crash north of Narooma forced the closure of the Princes Highway on Sunday afternoon and resulted in four people being sent to Moruya Hospital.
At 1.30pm on Sunday, June 7, emergency services were called to the site between Dalmeny Drive and Riverview Road.
Images from the scene showed one white sedan heavily damaged and resting on its side.
Four ambulances, fire trucks from Narooma Rural Fire Service and multiple police vehicles arrived on the scene to attend to the four injured people.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said one male child was treated for a head injury and another male child was injured by their seatbelt.
A woman in her 30s suffered a shoulder injury, while a woman in her 60s sustained injuries to her foot. All patients were in a stable condition.
The male driver of one of the cars was also taken to Moruya Hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol tests.
At the time of publication, the Princes Highway remained closed in both directions. Traffic was being diverted up Riverview Road.
UPDATE: It was confirmed with NSW Police at 6pm that the highway had reopened and was operating as normal.
