Donald Glover, known by his stage name Childish Gambino, has made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining dates of his North American and European tour due to a recent health concern that requires surgery. The multi-talented musician, actor, and creator of the hit TV show 'Atlanta' shared this news with his fans on Friday.

Following his performance in New Orleans on September 7, Glover underwent medical tests at a hospital and subsequently canceled his show in Houston the next night. While he did not disclose the specifics of his condition, he emphasized the importance of focusing on his recovery and taking the necessary time to heal.

'The New World Tour' marked Childish Gambino's return to touring since 2019, kicking off in Oklahoma City on August 11. The tour was set to visit numerous major cities across North America before heading to Europe, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia through early 2025.

This decision impacts more than 30 scheduled tour dates in North America, the U.K., and Europe. Glover expressed his regret over the cancellations and assured fans that ticket refunds would be provided.

In a message to his supporters, Glover expressed his deep desire to bring his show to his fans and perform as planned. However, he acknowledged the necessity of prioritizing his health and well-being during this challenging time.

As fans eagerly await his return to the stage, Glover extended his gratitude for the love, privacy, and support he has received. The music industry and his fans alike are sending well wishes for a swift recovery and a successful return to performing for Childish Gambino.
