A Co Down child has been praised by her parents after she voiced that she wanted to do something for the homeless in Belfast.
When Eva saw people sleeping on the streets, a typical seven-year-old, she began to ask many questions. From these conversations, the Bangor girl said she would set up a lemonade stand to raise enough money to buy hats, sleeping bags and blankets.
But given the time of year, her parents thought it would be better to take a different approach, so Eva made videos where she asked people to help her.

Speaking to Belfast Live, Eva's mum Chelsie said she was able to hand out items across Belfast once she had enough.
"Eva had been asking lots about people who are homeless after seeing so many in the streets of Belfast," Chelsie said.
"She started thinking of ways to help them. This started from her asking to do a lemonade stand to raise money which we knew wouldn't do a lot so encouraged her to think a bit more. She then asked if she could buy cosy items to deliver to people who need them.
"We thought why not see if people would like to donate, so Eva made videos. From these, she collected lots of hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, hoodies and socks and in December she handed some items out throughout Belfast and the rest was then donated to a homeless organisation."
Eva's parents spoke about the pride they had for their young daughter, who went out of her way over the Christmas period, to help others.
"We are so proud of Eva's act of kindness," they added.
"Each day she was asking 'how many hats and sleeping bags do I have now to help keep people warm?' and it made my heart warm. And we are just so thankful for all the support she received from friends and family."
