Child rushed to hospital after being knocked down on Scots street

A child has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down on a Scots street.

Emergency services raced to Carden Place in Aberdeen after the alarm was raised at around 4.20pm on Tuesday, March 22.

The crash was between a car and the young pedestrian.

Ambulance crews attended and the youngster was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Their condition is not yet known.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20pm on Tuesday, March 22, police were called to the Carden Place area of Aberdeen, following a report of a road crash involving a car and a child pedestrian.

"The pedestrian has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment."
