Police are investigating after a young child was seriously injured after being hit by a pick-up truck in east London.
Officers were called at 3:39pm on Friday, September 8, to Shrubland Road in Leyton and the three-year-old was taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by police. There has been no arrest.
The investigation is being led by officers from the Met’s Serious Collison Investigation Unit who are appealing for witnesses, information and any dash-cam footage.
