Child forced to 'urinate in a bag' in 'two hour' Manchester Airport security queue

A dad said his child had to urinate in a plastic bag in a "two hour long" security queue at Manchester Airport.

Mark Meadows, who was getting ready to jet off on an easyJet flight to Berlin with his family, faced the strenuous wait in the queue due to a shortage in staff. The dad shared images showing that just two of 13 security bays were open when trying to pass through the airport in Terminal One on Tuesday afternoon (June 7). However, it is understood that there were actually total of five lanes open across the two security areas in the terminal.

The family were then hit with more disappointment as their easyJet flight was cancelled and the family had to re-book for the following day (June 8). easyJet said the flight was cancelled due to 'air traffic control delays', reported Manchester Evening News.
