A child has died after being found unresponsive in a vehicle in north Queensland.
Police officers were called to a vehicle in Innisfail about 1pm on Monday after reports a child had been found unresponsive.
Emergency services provided medical assistance but the child was declared dead.
Investigations are continuing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The temperature at Innisfail Aero weather station reached a high of 30.4C on Monday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
