Chihuahua mauled to death by greyhound after being ripped from horrified owner's arms

Ayr Scotland

A chihuahua was mauled to death after being ripped from his horrified owner's arms by an "out of control" greyhound.

Five-year-old toy breed Pixie died when she was attacked by the dog on Croy Shore Beach, near Ayr, in Scotland last weekend.

Her devastated owner said Pixie was being walked along the shore on her lead when the greyhound "came charging towards her", the Daily Record reports.
