Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy sends positive message to fans after Week 16 win vs. Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans in Week 16 and rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy made major contributions to the defending Super Bowl champions’ win.

Worthy caught Patrick Mahomes’ only touchdown pass in the game and made a total of seven receptions that went for 65 yards.

The stands in Kansas City were a sea of red and Worthy took note of the support from the crowd that showed up in the cold weather to get loud for the Chiefs.

After the game, the team’s official Twitter account shared a message that Worthy recorded for Kansas City’s fans.

Listen to what Worthy had to say below:

Worthy figures to be a key part of the Chiefs’ offense when Kansas City faces off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day in Week 17.

Fans can expect to see more impressive grabs and ever-quicker footwork by Worthy as the Chiefs look to finish the regular season on a hot streak.
