The Kansas City Chiefs showed some fight against the Detroit Lions on Saturday afternoon, and even though they couldn’t secure a win in their preseason home opener, several players made outstanding plays for the defending champions on both sides of the ball.
Defensive back Keith Taylor, who is hoping to make a jump from the Chiefs’ practice squad to the team’s 53-man roster, came down with a particularly impressive interception against Detroit, which was one of the best plays of the game.
Check out Taylor’s spectacular preseason highlight in this video, which was posted by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

Taylor is one of several players who are vying for a backup spot on Kansas City’s depth chart, and he may have separated himself from his competition with this awesome interception.
Tune into the Chiefs’ final preseason game next week to see if Taylor can follow up his exceptional performance with another splendid showing against the Chicago Bears.
