The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a fierce back-and-forth battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.”
After taking an early lead, costly offensive mistakes saw the Chiefs go down 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes got off to a rough start to begin the second half, but the reigning Super Bowl MVP put together a near-perfect drive in the fourth quarter that ended with a touchdown pass to running back Samaje Perine.
Take a look at Mahomes’ scoring connection with Perine in this video, which was posted by the NFL’s official Twitter account:

Though Kansas City managed to tie the game, Mahomes had to be helped off the field after aggravating an ankle injury that he sustained in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Stay tuned to see if the Chiefs can keep their perfect season alive by closing out this primetime matchup with a fourth-quarter comeback.
