The 31st annual ESPY Awards will be another exciting and heavily influenced Kansas City Chiefs-filled show this year.
On Wednesday evening, the Chiefs can win an ESPY award for “Best Team” following their Super Bowl LVII victory. At the same time, Patrick Mahomes can take home victories for “Best Male Athlete” and the “Best NFL Player.” in addition to the nominations, it was announced this week that All-Pro Travis Kelce will present on stage at the show marking another appearance for the Chiefs star.
Kelce has previously presented, participated in skits, and provided backstage commentary during the ESPYs. He continues to add to his busy offseason in the public eye showcasing his entertainment chops. The Pro Bowler has already hosted Saturday Night Live, created a concert series called ‘Kelce Jam,’ conquered the obstacle of throwing a viable ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game, and won a televised charity golf game alongside Mahomes against two NBA All-Stars.
Donna Kelce is also slated to be a guest at the ESPY Awards after her Super Bowl LVII tour. Patrick Mahomes is also expected to be in attendance, presumably to accept an award.
The ESPY Awards, presented by Capitol One and benefiting the V Foundation, will be broadcast on Wednesday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m. CT on ABC.
