The Travis Kelce domination at tight end this season continues despite missing the first week. He leads the league in major categories for the position and remains quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ primary target.
Kelce has noticeably seen an increase in production on the field when his special guest, Taylor Swift, is in attendance. The Chiefs are undefeated in the games she’s watched from the suites, and it had reporters asking about her whereabouts in Germany after Friday’s practice.
“You know what I think when I mentioned, or everybody knows that she’s at the game, the Vegas, like the over-under on my catches, kind of goes through up and down the spread goes up and down. So, you know I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff, so I’m just gonna keep it to myself.”
The betting odds on Swift’s attendance affecting his play wasn’t the only pressing question from the press conference as a reporter asked about the couple’s current status.
“I got to see her last week,” said Kelce with a smile, “That’s the latest status. I’m gonna keep my personal relationship personal.”
