Chiefs talking reunion with a long-time Browns RB

The Kansas City Chiefs saw Isaih Pacheco go down with a fibula injury that will sideline him for about half of the season, leading them to bring in former Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt for a visit.

Hunt, of course, was drafted in the third round by the Chiefs in the 2017 NFL draft and led the NFL in rushing yards his rookie season. He was later cut by the Chiefs after a video surfaced of him in a domestic dispute in 2018.

Hunt would go on to sign with the Browns in 2019, spending the next five seasons in his hometown. His most notable season came in 2020 when Hunt rushed for 841 yards and six touchdowns. The Browns brought Hunt back a year ago after Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 2.

Last season, Hunt rushed for just three yards per carry, but was a short-yardage demon, scoring nine touchdowns in relief of Jerome Ford.

Could we see Hunt back in action again in 2024?
