Kansas City Chiefs free agent S Tyrann Mathieu continues his free agency tour.
After taking an in-person visit with the New Orleans Saints earlier this week, Mathieu now has his next visit on the docket. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Mathieu will take a virtual visit with the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo adds that the Eagles have been one of the teams showing the most interest in Mathieu during this free agency period, despite not having much money to work with, saying the Eagles have “remained in touch.”
Mathieu’s free agent market appears to be heating up after it started off quite cold. The visit with the Saints, which ended without a deal, seems to have prompted the virtual meeting with Philadelphia brass.
The #Eagles have remained in touch with Tyrann Mathieu for some time now. Not a lot of money to work with but they’d have interest at the right price. https://t.co/NpNIVJKYv9

That free agent visit also caught the attention of Chiefs DE Frank Clark, who attempted to recruit Mathieu back to Kansas City on Instagram on Wednesday.
Mathieu doesn’t seem to be in much of a hurry to find a new team this offseason. It’s entirely possible that this virtual visit ends the same way as his visit to New Orleans did.
