Chiefs rule out WR Mecole Hardman vs. Jaguars in Week 10

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without wide receiver Mecole Hardman against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to an abdominal injury, the team announced Friday.

Hardman, 24, is second on the Chiefs in touchdowns this season with six (four receiving, two rushing). With the fourth-year receiver out of action, the Kansas City offense will likely turn to second-round rookie Skyy Moore and the recently acquired Kadarius Toney against the Jaguars.

The only other player for the Chiefs who had an injury designation Friday was running back Jerick McKinnon, who is questionable.

For the Jaguars, the only player to monitor heading into the weekend is safety Rayshawn Jenkins, who is questionable.

Jenkins, 28, entered the concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 9 win against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was replaced in the game by veteran backup Dewey Wingard.

Tight end Evan Engram was also slowed by an injury last weekend, but after he was limited in the first two practices of the week, he practiced fully Friday. The team has decided Engram is a full-go against the Chiefs on Sunday.
