The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl bound after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game.
These two teams clearly don’t like each other very much and there was plenty of chatter leading up to the AFC title game, coming mostly from the losing side. After a hard-fought victory, this Chiefs squad earned the right to celebrate and talk their talk. Many of them took to Twitter to react following the game and early this morning.
Here’s a look at some of the best reactions so far:
QB Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes had a few different stages of emotions, going from excitement to thankfulness and quickly turning his attention to Super Bowl LVII.

WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
Valdes-Scantling had one of the earliest tweets following the game, showcasing sheer and utter disbelief. He’s played in conference championship games before, but this will be his first Super Bowl. That disbelief faded and turned to thankfulness and excitement this morning. He also played a fiddle for some sad Bengals fans.

Man I’m just so proud of my teammates. Battling through so much adversity yesterday. Pat’s ankle. TK’s back. Mecole playing through a injury to get a huge first down. Skyy stepping in thrown in the fire, Marcus Kemp being the ultimate pro, always prepared. Called up and was huge.
