The journey to three Super Bowl titles in a row is underway for some members of the Kansas City Chiefs. The offseason workouts not sanctioned by the team are early indicators of the players’ camaraderie and trust before heading into organized team activity.
Well-known trainer Bobby Stroupe has notably worked with Chiefs players such as Patrick Mahomes, George Karlaftis, and his various athlete clients. He posted images from workouts featuring Mahomes, Rashee Rice, and newly signed receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown on his X account early Thursday morning.
In the initial image featuring Rice and Brown, Stroupe details the importance of working on footwork to avoid serious injuries.
1) Working on your feet is not as sexy as footwork. It’s boring and tedious and necessary. Just know that a dysfunctional foot/ankle is like a poor behaved child, it ruins the experience for all involved. pic.twitter.com/XYpKkc0DzU

In recent years, Stroupe has been featured for his work with Mahomes, especially during his battles with lower leg injuries. The three-time Super Bowl MVP showed plenty of flexibility during his AFC Championship game performance against the Baltimore Ravens, due in part to the work with Stroupe.

Mahomes is still working out in the offseason, and his receivers, Rice and Brown, are joining him. The group is building the chemistry off the field needed for the 2024 season.
