However, due to the holiday falling on a Wednesday, these teams will also play the prior Saturday, resulting in a tight schedule.
Mahomes acknowledged the physical toll of playing multiple games in such a short period but emphasized the professional responsibility to perform. The Chiefs are set to face the Browns on Sunday, followed by a game against the Texans on December 21, and then a Christmas Day doubleheader against the Steelers and Ravens.
