The Kansas City Chiefs have selected offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Senior Director of Pro Scouting Tim Terry to represent the club for a new coaching and front office accelerator program at league meetings next week.
The NFL will descend upon Atlanta, Georgia for the spring league meetings next week. From May 23-24, Bieniemy and Terry will take part in the NFL’s new accelerator program which seeks to bring diverse coaching and front office candidates together for leadership development and networking opportunities.
“The NFL is committed to diversity and inclusion, and this program is the latest in a series of steps designed to improve our hiring practices and create opportunities for advancement,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, via press release. “The program helps ensure that clubs receive exposure to high-performing, up-and-coming NFL talent and candidates get a chance to learn the business on a working level from team owners and executives.”
