Chiefs Check-in: Chiefs need to find ways to stretch the field

Perhaps the biggest challenge Kansas City’s offense has faced this season has been the inability to execute deep passes. According to Doug Farrar of Touchdown Wire, Patrick Mahomes has completed just eight of 23 deep passes for 278 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions.

With Justin Watson set to miss at least a few weeks, the Chiefs need a wide receiver to step up and be a consistent deep threat. Mahomes also needs to be more consistent with the deep ball as he has missed his share of throws down the field.
