Free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. held a private workout in Arizona on Friday for NFL teams as he looks to prove he’s rehabilitated a knee injury suffered during Super Bowl LVI. According to CBS Sports reporter Jonathan Jones, the Kansas City Chiefs were among 11 plus teams in attendance for the workout.
The Chiefs were regarded as a “strong contender” to sign Beckham Jr. during the course of the 2022 NFL season, but nothing materialized as his knee injury kept him from being ready to join a team. That’s part of the reason that he was hosting a private workout, to help inform teams that he was ready to return to action.
Teams represented at Odell Beckham Jr.'s private workout in Arizona today included the Panthers, Giants, Patriots, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns and Ravens, per source.

In 2021 with the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham caught 44 passes for 537 yards and five touchdowns en route to Super Bowl LVI. The 30-year-old wideout is four years removed from his last 1,000-yard season, which came in 2019 with the Cleveland Browns.
He seemed to have some level of interest in Kansas City last year, but as with all decisions in the NFL, his free agency outlook will be dictated by finances.
