Chief selector Salil Ankola abused me, alleges Rajesh Pawar

MUMBAI: Former Mumbai spinner and current Under-25 coach Rajesh Pawar has complained to Mumbai Cricket Association president Vijay Patil that chief selector Salil Ankola, an ex-India pacer, abused him after the former's team (MCA Colts) lost the Memorial Invitation Cricket Tournament final to Cricket Club of India on February 26 at Bombay Gymkhana.

In an email (TOI has a copy) to Patil and members of the Cricket Improvement Committee four days ago, Pawar has written: "Respected sir, I'm writing this email to you to register a complaint against the selection committee chairman Salil Ankola for using abusive and unprofessional language against me."
