The build to Super Bowl LVI between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams has been intriguing for a near-endless set of reasons.
But one of the most important is the revelations players give out during extended media access.
Take Bengals corner Chidobe Awuzie. He’s been a revelation this year as the team’s top corner with Trae Waynes out.
Speaking with reporters ahead of the big game, he said other teams offered him more money in free agency, yet he liked what the Bengals had going on so much that he stuck with them.
Laurel Pfahler of the Dayton Daily News captured the moment:
Chidobe Awuzie said he got a few mores offers after he already committed to the #Bengals, including one for more money, but he liked what he was hearing about the locker room and what they were building and he's glad he stuck with them.

Awuzie’s probably thrilled with the result — he’s in the Super Bowl and has two more years under contract before he can hit free agency again right in the middle of his prime.
On top of that, Awuzie will have the tall task of matching guys like Odell Beckham Jr. on the biggest stage of them all.
