Chicago woman attends an open house for a luxury home built on an old church site. Then a sink turns on by itself and the realtor makes a confession

A Chicago woman claims a group of luxury homes is sitting empty because of paranormal activity linked to the land they were built on, BroBible reports. Tessa, who shares her experiences on TikTok, says the houses stand where a spooky old abandoned church once stood. She notes that the neighborhood is full of buildings that are 70 to 120 years old, and this specific church was a desolate staple across from her own home for a long time.

Multiple developers tried to repurpose the church over the years, but they all faced the same issue. Tessa claims construction workers were consistently spooked by otherworldly activity and would often leave the premises during the day. She acknowledges that workers leaving a site is not proof of a haunting, but she mentions hearing them shout “demonio” as they fled the building. She believes they were genuinely scared off by what they witnessed.
