This past season, the Chicago Bulls season ended in disappointment. They were bounced in the play-in tournament by the Miami Heat, who went on to make the NBA Finals.
Rather than considering a rebuild, the Bulls committed to winning. And so far this summer, the moves they’ve made have helped them improve their team’s ceiling.
As they prepare for the upcoming season, Nikola Vucevic and Coby White are back in place, and Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig arrived via free agency. Unfortunately for fans, they will not get to see the new team in action until October, but the preseason will give them an early look.
The Bulls announced their 2023-24 preseason schedule, and it’s full of interesting matchups.
Chicago Bulls 2023-24 preseason schedule
- Oct. 8 @ Milwaukee Bucks
- Oct. 12 vs. Denver Nuggets
- Oct. 15 @ Denver Nuggets
- Oct. 17 vs. Toronto Raptors
- Oct. 19 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Chicago opens its preseason schedule with a game against the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Then, they will welcome the reigning champion Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic to the United Center before traveling to face them again on the road a few days later.
After that, the Bulls will head back home to face off against the Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves to round out the schedule.
Overall, it will be an interesting slate. And while preseason doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things, it’s always fun to get an early look at the squad. For the players on training camp deals, it’s their chance to earn a roster spot.
