Chhattisgarh minister Kawasi Lakhma's 'changu-mangu' remark sparks protest from BJP

RAIPUR: After Chhattisgarh’s excise and industries minister Kawasi Lakhma mocked two senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders as “changu-mangu” of the saffron party, the Chhattisgarh unit of the BJP hit back saying that “Lakhma is a puppet in the hands of chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, who is misusing him”.

Chhattisgarh BJP president Arun Sao and leader of the Opposition Narayan Chandel were on a tour of the Bastar region as part of the party's preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
