RAIPUR: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday continued his tour to North Surguja region on the third consecutive day as part of his ongoing month-long mass outreach programme, announced various development initiatives for Surajpur district, played traditional Gulli-danda with school children and arranged school kids a chopper ride.
After dedicating 31 development initiatives worth about Rs 57.10 crore in Ramanujganj constituency and also laid foundation stone for development new development works. Later, he also went to Raghunath Nagar Swami Atmanand school where the met the students and had an interactive session with them. He also played gulli-danda with school children.
The CM arranged school kids a chopper ride.
Smriti, a class two student studying in Swami Atmanand English medium school at Raghunath Nagar, got a pleasant surprise when the chief minister invited her and few other children for a chopper ride. As the chief minister told the children that all toppers of class X and XII would get a chopper ride, some of the children expressed their desire for a helicopter ride today.
