Chessable Masters: Praggu makes knockouts, faces Wei Yi in the quarters

CHENNAI: Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa made it to the knockout stages of the Chessable Masters online tournament late on Sunday.

Praggu finished the preliminary stage of the tournament, part of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour (MCCT), in fourth place with 25 points. Praggu will lock horns with Wei Yi in the quarterfinals. Praggu becomes only the second Indian after Arjun Erigaisi to have made the knockout stages of MCCT.
