Chess star Hans Niemann accuses Magnus Carlsen of paying grandmaster to heckle him

Hans Niemann, the American teenager embroiled in chess’s cheating scandal, has accused world champion Magnus Carlsen of paying another grandmaster to heckle him during a tournament.

Niemann alleges Carlsen paid another player €300 to shout “Cheater Hans” from a public balcony during one his matches. Carlsen has not publicly responded to the accusation.
