Cheryl has shared a rare glimpse of her son on social media as she gave fans a look at her recent 40th birthday celebrations. The singer surprised her fans by making a return to social media to mark her milestone birthday.
On Friday (June 30), Cheryl told fans: "This is 40!" as she appeared to feel it was the perfect time to make a comeback in the online world as she marked the special occasion. Taking to her Instagram page, which she hasn't been active on since April when she celebrated the end of her stint in West End play 2:22 A Ghost Story, Cheryl posted a snap of herself looking unrecognisable in a pair of oversized flower shades.
The pop star, who shot to fame at the tender age of 19 back in 2002 when she impressed the judges on Popstars: The Rivals to be chosen to be one-fifth of the girl band Girls Aloud, was seen sporting a pink shirt that had been tied at her waist to turn it into a crop-top and a pair of oversized wide leg green trousers.

"So…this is 40," Cheryl simply captioned the post with a daisy emoji as she shared the image with her 3.4 million followers. But the former X Factor judge has returned to social media once more as she reflected on her celebratory weekend with a number of her friends and family including mum Joan, son Bear and Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts.
The video featured clips and photos from Cheryl's birthday trip to the countryside, or more specifically the Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk, where the group enjoyed axe-throwing, archery, wild swimming, country walks and toasting marshamllows on an open fire.
In a couple of quick shots, Cheryl's son, who she shares with former One Direction star Liam Payne, could be seen joining in on the fun. In one clip the six-year-old couple be seen wearing a smart suit as he toasted some marshmallows, while another saw him jumping excitedly towards his grandmother as he congratulated her with a hug during axe throwing.
There were also clips of Nadine, Kimberley and Kimberley's husband Justin Scott appearing to be singing along to some music before former EastEnders star Jake Wood, who starred alongside Cheryl during her West End debut, also appeared at various points smoking a cigar and doing some paddleboarding.
"As my 40th celebrations end and a new era begins I just wanted to wish all my fellow 83 babies the happiest of happy birthdays," Cheryle started to type alongside her post shared with her 3.4 million followers. "Wishing for you inner peace , much love , joy & happiness. We made it through the turbulence!
"They say life begins at 40 and I think I believe them. Thank you @wildernessreserve for the best birthday weekend I could’ve wished for." And it didn't take her fans and followers long to comment as they spotted Bear in the clip as well as her former bandmates and actor Jake, known for playing Max Branning in BBC One's EastEnders.
Kimberley replied: "Love you," while Jake posted a string of red hearts. Little Mix star Perrie Edwards said: "Love this!" @cheryltweedynews replied: "Thanks for sharing such precious moments with us. Little Bear is too cute in his suit." @hannahamakeup wrote: "This made me crazy emotional too. You have the best people around you."
